What is a Coupled Entry?
In a coupled entry, two or more horses owned by the same stable or trained by the same trainer can run together as a single betting unit. Coupled entries have the same number (e.g., #1 and #1A) and when you bet on one of the horses, you are also betting on the other.
If either one of the horses wins, your bet on the other horse in the coupled entry is considered a win as well.
Example: If you bet on the #1 horse to win and the ensuing race results are 1A-3-1. Your bet will be settled as a win because #1 is considered the same as #1A.
